SEVERAL members of Leicester’s 2023 team will enjoy some much needed track time this weekend ahead of the club’s official start to the season.
New signing Justin Sedgmen takes his place in the Ben Fund Bonanza at King’s Lynn on Saturday (5pm), a meeting which also features three members of last year’s Watling JCB Lions team – Kyle Howarth, Richie Worrall and Connor Mountain.
Meanwhile there are four Lions riders competing in the Sam Masters Testimonial at Wolverhampton on Sunday (3pm) with Sedgmen joined by Max Fricke, Chris Harris and Nick Morris.
A reminder that both the Lions and the Lion Cubs will be on track for official practice at Beaumont Park on Tuesday (March 28) with the stadium open from 6.30pm.
The first meeting sees the Lions host Ipswich in the KO Cup on Thursday March 30.
